Tyson has invested significantly in a series of measures designed to help fight the spread of COVID-19 with masks, temperature & symptom checkpoints, social distancing, and vaccination requirements throughout the Pandemic.
In addition to these health and safety measures, Tyson has partnered with CEC Technologies to install air purification upgrades throughout our plants to protect you and exceed the CDC guidelines. The CDC recommends considering portable air cleaners that use high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters to enhance air cleaning and purification of air, especially in high-risk areas prone to heavy air circulation.
Our air purification machines in offices, lockers rooms, conferences rooms, lunchrooms are strategically located around the plants to bring you clean, healthy, and bacteria-free air. Portable air sterilizers destroy airborne pathogens with a multi-stage filtration process that includes pre-filtration, HEPA filtration, and the inclusion of UV-C light sterilization.
Contaminated air is pulledthrough a pre-filter where dust, oils, andother particles are removed.
Next, the UVC light sterilizes the organicparticles in the air, reducing therisk of spreading viruses and bacteria.
Lastly, the sterilized airpasses through one final HEPA filterto ensure fresh and purified air.
These air sterilizer units circulate and turn over air 6-8 times per hour, reducing the spread of viruses in locations throughout Tyson plants.
